Privacy notice
This notice covers myallspice.com, the website for Allspice — a product in early development. It explains what the site collects, who processes it, and how to have your details removed.
What this covers
It covers this website only. Allspice is not yet a product you can use, so we hold no data from any restaurant system — no sales, labor, reservation or supplier data passes through anything we run today.
What we collect when you join the early-access list
The early-access form asks for exactly four things, all of which you type yourself:
- First name
- Last name
- Company
- Work email address
We use them for one purpose: to contact you about Allspice early access. We do not sell them and we do not share them with anyone beyond the processor named below.
Who processes that form
The form submits directly to Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), the email platform we use to manage the early-access list. Your details are stored in our Kit account and are subject to Kit’s own processing terms and security practices as our email provider.
Analytics and error reporting
Like most websites, this one measures usage. These tools run on myallspice.com and may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and may receive your IP address, the pages you view, and general device and browser information:
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — traffic measurement.
- PostHog — product analytics, so we can see which parts of the site people actually use.
- Honeybadger — error reporting, so we find out when a page breaks.
These tools are used to understand how the site is performing, not to build an advertising profile of you. We run no advertising on this site, and the advertising-related settings on our measurement tags are switched off for everyone, everywhere.
Your choice about analytics
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, analytics storage is off by default. You will see a prompt asking whether to turn it on, and nothing is stored on your device for analytics unless you choose Accept. Declining costs you nothing — every part of this site works the same either way.
Elsewhere, analytics is on by default. In either case, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a refusal and load no analytics or error reporting at all.
You can change your answer whenever you like using the Analytics preferences link at the bottom of any page. Your choice is remembered in your own browser, not on our servers.
These tools also only run on myallspice.com. Development and preview builds of this site collect nothing at all.
Your choices
Every email we send through Kit carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops us contacting you. To have your details deleted rather than just unsubscribed, reply to any email you receive from us and ask — see contact.
Changes
Allspice is in early development. As the product takes shape — and certainly before it handles any operating data from a restaurant group — this notice will be expanded to cover what the product itself does, and we will say so here.
