One does the work of many.
We’re building Allspice into an AI Director of Operations for independent multi-unit restaurant groups: ask a question in plain English and get the answer assembled from Point of Sale, Shift Scheduling, Reservations, and the rest of the back office. No dashboard-hopping. No exports. That’s the product we’re defining with our first partner operators.
Product concept · illustrative data
Eight logins.
Zero clarity.
You’re running a multi-million dollar operation on exported CSVs, duct-taped spreadsheets, and a prayer.
ERR // HOURS/WEEK
Manual Reconciliation
Exporting from Point of Sale. Formatting in spreadsheets. Cross-referencing Shift Scheduling. Every. Single. Week.
ERR // DISCONNECTED SYSTEMS
Disconnected Tools
POS, labor, reservations, inventory, invoices — none of them speak the same language.
ERR // ZERO CONTEXT
No Unified View
You can't see which location is winning or why — until the P&L closes three weeks late.
The one berry
Your whole stack, in one jar.
Allspice isn’t meant to replace your tools — it’s designed to be the one place that makes them work together. The intended experience: ask a question in plain English, and Allspice assembles the answer from your connected systems into a single ready-to-act view.

Planned capabilities
Designed to run the room.
This is the experience we’re building, not a feature list you can buy today. Nothing below is generally available yet.
Ask in plain English
"Which location had the highest labor last week?" — no dashboards, no exports. Just an answer with sources.
Just-in-time UI
The plan: Allspice renders the right chart, table, or schedule inline in the conversation — exactly the view you need, nothing more.
Staged approvals
Designed so nothing moves on its own: Allspice would stage a recommendation and hold it until you approve.
Automated alerts
Labor trending high mid-shift? Inventory at reorder threshold? Surfacing it the moment it matters is part of the intended experience.
Cross-location intelligence
One query designed to span every location — which site is winning, why it's winning, and what the others can borrow.
Source-cited answers
Responses are designed to cite their source system and time range, and to say so when the data is stale.
The intended flow
From question to action, without the export.

01 /
Ask
Type a question in plain English — or tap a suggestion. No query language, no filters, no dashboards to navigate.
02 /
Allspice renders
Allspice is designed to pull from your connected systems and render the right panel: a chart, a schedule, an invoice, a recommendation.
03 /
You decide
Every suggested action would be staged for your approval — nothing happens until you say so. You stay in control.
Common questions
Does Allspice replace your Point of Sale, Shift Scheduling, or Reservations tools?
No — the design sits on top of your existing stack: read your data, give you one place to ask questions, and stage actions for approval. Your systems stay exactly where they are.
What does "just-in-time UI" mean?
Instead of sending you to a static dashboard, Allspice is designed to render the right view inline — a chart, a schedule diff, an invoice table — only when you need it, only for the question you asked. Less noise, more signal.
How do staged approvals work?
The intended model: when Allspice recommends an action (adjusting a schedule, flagging a reorder), it stages the change and waits for your approval before anything is written back to the underlying system. You stay in control.
Which systems are you designing for?
Point of Sale, Shift Scheduling, Reservations, Accounts Payable, Email Marketing, Website, and Food Distributor systems. Which of those land first is being decided with our early partner operators — none of them are generally available yet.
Can I use Allspice today?
Not yet. Allspice is in early development, and we are working with a small group of partner operators to define the first release. Join the early-access list and we will reach out as spots open up.
